Talk to the Parent-Teacher Association of Brent International School

NGF expected only 30 parents to be part of this small discussion of teen depression. However, much to our surprise, 75 people attended, and we gave a talk to a standing room audience. NGF President Jean Goulbourn and Dr. John Reyes talked about depression, how it affects teenagers and how nutrition can play a role in preventing, managing or treating depression.

    This is basically what my mom did, I told her I was suiadicl and later broke down in front of her and she told me to suck it up and get over it, I’m not the only one dealing with the stresses that had me freaking out and she and my peers got through it so I should just be fine. I never bothered to tell her again. It’s lifted recently, but I still slip every once in a while.
